In one of these shapes, casting molds are divided into three categories: die-cast molds, ridge molds and sand molds. Another method of dividing casting molds is to divide them into temporary molds and permanent molds. Each of these molds is suitable for a specific type of casting, which we will describe in the following.
Types of casting molds
